Meatloaf Recipe

Busy life and busy schedule? Here is a quick dinner recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to make and 45 minutes to bake.  Add some roasted vegetables to this meal, and you can unwind while dinner is cooking. Follow the recipe below:
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1/2 a diced onion
  • 12 soda crackers 
  • 1/2 a diced green pepper
  • 1/2 a diced sweet pepper (red, yellow, or orange)
  • 1 - 2 cloves of garlic (or garlic powder)
  • 2 packages of Tu-Bees Smoked Applewood Hot Honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcester Sauce
  • Pepper
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onion, diced peppers, fresh garlic and pepper. Crumble the soda crackers into crumbs, then add them to the meat mixture. Mix everything together so that it is well blended before adding the rest of the ingredients.
In a separate container, combine the egg, milk, mustard, Worcester sauce and Smoked Applewood Hot Honey. Mix this well before pouring it over the ground beef mixture.
Once you add the liquid mixture to the meat mixture, knead everything together so that it is blended well. Put the mixture into a 9" x 9" pan and bake at 350 degrees until browned on the top.  Serve with some roasted potatoes and carrots or side salad.
